What is breathwork?
Breathwork is a generic term which covers all practices that use a conscious and deliberate change in breathing rate, tempo and pattern so that a specific result is achieved. That might be to energise or relax the body or to help relieve feelings of anxiety or to increase concentration. There has been a growth in interest in Breathwork as more and more people are learning the benefits that come from better breathing; benefits that range from enhanced physical performance to processing PTSD.
Breathwork changes lives!
It’s strange to contemplate how powerful our breath can be in shaping our life experience and experiences because it feels so consigned to biology. It’s a function of human science that has not much to do with who we are. How much thought do you ever give to the way that you breathe?
If you haven’t yet, I totally understand, and I’d also invite you to rethink, neglecting your breath is causing you a multitude of unnecessary hardships that a refocus with the right kind of support will make a thing of the past.
We have forgotten what the ancients knew.
We have forgotten that breathing, this singular part of our autonomic nervous system is the only part over which we have direct power to alter, affect, interact with and utilise for the outcomes we wish to create…or left to its own devices, we neglect a superpower which dwells right under our noses.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to be that person, especially when I know what I know about the power of breathwork.

There is more joy, freedom from reactivity, zest for life and ease with challenges that lives in directly correlation with using your breath consciously to reclaim who you are.
